Dear learners,
As French language classes officially begin today, please note that all sessions this week will be held exclusively online on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. This temporary arrangement will allow us to finalize the in-person group assignments (for those based in Addis Ababa) and better manage attendance for an appropriate classroom setup, the AU learn will also be utilized.

For learners who have not yet completed their placement test, you have two options:
Join the class which you are aware corresponds to your level
(For learners based in Addis Ababa): You may come today to the training center, 4th floor of the NCC Building between 12:00 and 1:30 PM to take a placement test in person.
Course manuals are now available for collection (for learners in Addis Ababa), at the training center.

Dear Participants,
We are pleased to inform you that the French Language Training Program will officially commence tomorrow, 16th June 2025. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 13:30, as outlined in the attached schedule.
An email will be sent regarding your assigned group. Please join the sessions according to your assigned group and the link provided. For face-to-face session, classes will be held at the AUC training center, 4th floor, NCC and for online session, links will be shared as per your group assignments. Starting next week, all sessions and course materials will be accessible through the AU e-learning platform (AU-Learn).
For participants based at AU Headquarters, the course textbook is available for collection at the Training Center, 4th Floor, Room 408. You may pick up your copy at your convenience.

Dear Participants,
Thank you for your interest and successful registration in the French language lesson. We sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm and also apologize for the delay in starting the classes.
We are pleased to inform you that the introductory meeting will take place on Wednesday, 11th June. During this session, we will present the programme and the schedule for both physical and online classes.
After the meeting, a placement test will be shared with all non-beginner participants. Based on the results, we will form the learning groups and inform you of the official class start date.
